Where Was Joe this time?

Where Was Joe this time?

Here we find Joe at the “end of history!” Really! On the hill behind him, the French Emperor was digging in for the big battle. The romantics were a part of the opposition, planning their moves at a small tavern a few meters to Joe’s left. (The tavern is still there and the food and drink are still wunderbar!) The bridge crosses the Saale River and the road carries a footsore academic into the town where Professor Hegel is teaching, declaring tomorrow’s battle to be the “End of History!”

About jmp479

For years I taught History and Philosophy at a community college in Central Pennsylvania. Now I am learning all sorts of things, from growing veggies and fruit, to fixing small engines and maintaining home systems. I am learning to live deliberately. Still love to hear from my past students, though. So drop me a line and tell me what you are up to.
