Where was Joe?

When this home was built, it was the only home in the State with indoor plumbing, steam heating and several other innovations.  Hints:  No, the Governor did not live in such a mansion!  It was right across the road from Carnegie Hall. It’s owner was a wizard, most famous for a compromise but historically important as a great American innovator. I’d go further…I list him among the founders of that American Nation that we mean when we walk around the US today.

About jmp479

For years I taught History and Philosophy at a community college in Central Pennsylvania. Now I am learning all sorts of things, from growing veggies and fruit, to fixing small engines and maintaining home systems. I am learning to live deliberately. Still love to hear from my past students, though. So drop me a line and tell me what you are up to.
