When this home was built, it was the only home in the State with indoor plumbing, steam heating and several other innovations. Hints: No, the Governor did not live in such a mansion! It was right across the road from Carnegie Hall. It’s owner was a wizard, most famous for a compromise but historically important as a great American innovator.
